Integrated Front Office Features

Ector offers a range of integrated features that allow for quick and easy extension of the base theme's functionalities.

Image Thumbnails​

This integrated feature allows, through a simple flag set in Ector Core, to display the product's image thumbnail instead of the hexadecimal color when a product has color combinations.

Special Display for Combinations with Quantity​

By entering the attribute ID for which you want to filter quantities in the appropriate field in the Ector Core configuration, you can hide options with no availability before the user selects them.

Natively, Prestashop shows all combinations and only informs about availability upon selection. This can be confusing for the user. On the other hand, Prestashop's option to show only available product combinations does not display anything if no combination is available.

With this flag, you can show only the available combinations for the attribute chosen as "primary" for availability.

Activating the Features​

To activate these features:

  1. Image Thumbnails:

    • Set the corresponding flag in the Ector Core configuration.

  2. Special Display for Combinations with Quantity:

    • Enter the attribute ID in the Ector Core configuration.
